Can RIP Wallet touch my funds?
No. Keys are generated and encrypted in your browser and never leave your device, and there is no server that holds anything of yours. One honest caveat, since every browser wallet shares it: the code runs from a page we serve, so whoever controls that origin controls the code that decrypts and signs. That is the real trust you place in us, and in every web wallet. The contracts are the part nobody can change afterwards, us included.
How does the inheritance actually work?
You raise an on-chain vault, name one heir, and choose a silence period. Every transaction the vault sends resets the timer, and a send from your plain account does not. If the timer reaches zero, your heir may begin a claim, which opens a 30-day grace window. One move through the vault cancels it instantly. If the grace passes untouched, ownership transfers on-chain.
What if I lose my seed phrase?
The twelve words are the only key. No one can recover them for you. But this is exactly what the rite is for: if you can no longer transact, the silence eventually falls, and your named heir can still claim the vault. Your legacy survives even your own lost key.
What if I lose my device?
Nothing that matters lives on the device. Your funds sit on-chain, and your keystore is only an encrypted local copy of keys that derive from the twelve words. On any new device: open the wallet, restore with the twelve words, set a fresh password. The same addresses rise again across all ninety-one EVM chains and on Solana. There is no server to call and no account to recover, because none exists. Guard the words. The hardware is disposable.
Can someone claim my vault while I'm alive?
Only after your full silence period and a 30-day grace window. A single transaction sent through the vault cancels the claim at any point during grace. As long as the vault breathes on-chain, it is yours alone.
Which chains are supported?
Ninety-one EVM networks: every chain of consequence, from Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism and Avalanche to Robinhood Chain, Monad, Plasma, MegaETH, Sonic, Berachain, HyperEVM, Unichain and beyond, plus Base Sepolia for testing. One seed holds the same address across all of them, and Solana is its own realm in the same wallet, with keys derived from the same twelve words. Bitcoin is not a spending network here, because we will not show you an address we cannot sign for. It is the default final form of an inheritance instead, delivered to a Bitcoin address the owner inscribes on-chain, and a destination in Swap: sell anything on any chain and receive native BTC at an address you type. Tron is not supported.
Is this built for meme tokens?
Yes. The trenches are where wallets die fastest, so the guards are built for them. Token import reads metadata from the contract itself and rejects homoglyph fakes. Selection is anchored by address, never by symbol. Swaps quote honest routes wherever the aggregator reaches across the ninety-one EVM chains, and through Jupiter on Solana, saying so plainly when a pair has no route, and stop orders watch prices while the wallet is awake. Trade the memes. The vault keeps the discipline.
Can I launch a token from this wallet?
Yes, onto the launchpad you choose, not one we invented. The Launch menu carries the five networks with the largest volume on DEX Screener, at most three pads each. Do I need $RIP to use the wallet?
No, and you could not buy it today even if you wanted to. No $RIP contract exists yet. It is planned as the protocol's utility token for governance, keeper incentives, and fee relief. The wallet is fully functional without it.
